Stick To Your Diet

Problems Sticking To Your Diet? Like many people I sometimes have a hard time sticking to my diet. My intentions are good but it seems as though I can always come up with a reason or an excuse to revert back to my poor eating habits. In order to help myself stay on track I starting playing a little game called "Stick To Your Diet." You can place the magnets on any metal surface but I have mine on the fridge since that's were the food is and the kitchen is where I am most likely to over-eat. The competition lasted for three months an

Diet and Weight Loss Management For Losers

Weight Loss Goals While conducting a training session on Goal-Setting last week, one of the things that I asked the participants to do was write down a personal goal that they would like to accomplish in the upcoming year. Do you want to guess what the number one goal was at the completion of the exercise? That's right, lose weight! Without prompting or prior discussion, seventy-five percent of the participants indicated that their goal was to lose twenty to thirty-five pounds this year. This appears to be a common goal shared by many people and for obvious reasons. The benefits associated with maintaining your weight at the proper level are numerous. The improved health benefits and enhanced self-esteem alone are enough to make this a very desirable goal. Tired Of Being Overweight? Lose Weight 100 Calories At A Time

It's Time to Lose Weight As I continue the never-ending journey of losing weight and keeping it off and improving my overall health and fitness I have found it helpful to think in terms of 100. Diet Plans It seems as though every single thing that I put into my mouth contains at least 100 hundred calories so I decided to use the number 100 as my unit of measurement and set out to reduce my weight 100 calories at a time. Diet Goals My daily diet goal is 2000 calories or less, so for my three main meals each day, I try to keep the total calories under 400 and that leaves me an additional 800 calories which I use for small snacks which I try to keep under 100 calories each. Diet Tips This tip along with reducing the amount of sweets and carbohydrates and drinking more water has helped me to considerably lose more weight. Where Do you Overeat?

My Diet Plan I am constantly looking for ways to refine my personal diet and weight loss program so that I can achieve the health and fitness goals that I have set for myself. With only a few minor changes in my lifestyle and paying closer attention to what I eat, I have actually managed to lose a few pounds over the past year. Not only did I lose 20 pounds but so far I have been able to keep the weight off. I have to admit that I am currently stuck within a 5 pound weight range so I need to figure out how to take it to the next level. Dieting vs Healthy Lifestyle Changes The reason that this weight loss is significant to me at least, is because I'm not really focused on diets or dieting. I have chosen instead to focus on making lifestyle changes that I can maintain for the rest of my life. I am not a diet, health and fitness professional by any stretch of the imagination. As a matter of fact, I am just a regular working professional who needs to lose weight.
